David Ward, U.K. general manager at Deckers Outdoor the owner of Ugg and Teva, has left the company after just six months, according to Drapers. Ward was previously managing director of Perry Ellis Europe.
Ward was hired by Deckers in July, shortly after Deckers ended its U.K. distribution deal with AMG. He was charged with overseeing the distribution of all of Deckers' brands in the UK and Republic of Ireland including Ugg from January 2011.
Kelly Da Silva, Deckers European marketing manager, told Drapers: “We can confirm that David Ward has left Deckers UK Limited. We would like to thank him for his time at Deckers and wish him all the best for the future.”
