Dead Air Silencers promoted Tony Tarantino to the newly created position of senior director of channel development, responsible for executing strategies and programs at the dealer and consumer levels to increase brand exposure.
Tarantino will support the company’s rep groups Rocky Mountain Rubicon, Simpson Sales and Dunkin Lewis. He commented, “I look forward to taking on this new role for our organization, supporting our regional sales team and reps in the field, building upon our proven strategies, and creating new ones for sustained success.”
Previously, Tarantino was the marketing director at Dead Air Silencers for the last two and a half years. He has had a 20-plus-year career in the firearms industry, including experience in marketing, retail and law enforcement sales, supply chain management, and indoor range operations.
Ernie Beckwith, president and CEO at Dead Air Silencers, said, “Tony’s diverse background working with distributors, buy groups, dealers, and rep groups has made him the obvious choice for this position. His expert management of our media channels aligns well with our goal to expand Dead Air’s sales footprint for 2024 and beyond. His experience in many roles in the industry will allow him to be precise and effective in his efforts. We could not ask for a better person suited to take on this new endeavor.”
