When James Bond required high-performance boots for the movies No Time To Die (2021) and Spectre (2015), the filmmakers reached out to Portland, Oregon’s bootmaker, Danner.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of James Bond films, Danner is releasing two limited-edition boots inspired by styles worn by 007 in past films.

The 007 Mountain Light II 60th Anniversary and the 007 Tanicus 60th Anniversaryare presented in custom boxes and embossed with anniversary-edition logos. The boots are suitable for fall and winter conditions with premium waterproof updates.

  • 007 Mountain Light II 60th Anniversary, available in men’s and women’s sizes, manufactured in Danner’s Portland, OR factory, is updated with black Horween leather. Gore-Tex lining provides waterproof protection, and the Vibram Megagrip Kletterlift outsole offers lightweight comfort and shock absorption. It also provides traction and stability on wet and dry surfaces. Danner’s stitch-down construction provides a wider platform for stability, and the lace-to-toe system gives a secure fit. The boot is embossed with the 007 logo on the tongue, footbed and inside the boot.
  • 007 Tanicus 60th Anniversary is an all-black version of the Tanicus boot in a waterproof suede upper with a waterproof Gore-Tex lining. Made with suede and ballistic nylon, the boot is lightweight, responsive and supportive. A cushioned midsole adds comfort, while a custom pentagonal-patterned Vibram outsole grips indoor and outdoor surfaces. The 007 Tanicus has a 007 logo on the outer heel and footbed.

The 007 Mountain Light II 60th Anniversary and the 007 Tanicus 60th Anniversary will be available on October 13, 2022here.
