Marker/Dalbello/Völkl (MDV), a global leader and supplier of snow sports products, named Willy Booker EVP for the Dalbello Skiboots brand in the U.S., effective September 1.

“We are very excited about the addition of Willy Booker as the new EVP for Dalbello,” said Mike Noonan, U.S. president, MDV. “His proven track record in our industry brings with it a wealth of experience and expertise to lead Dalbello forward.”

Booker joins MDV with years of ski industry experience. Formerly he served as president of Nordica USA for four years.

A lifelong skier, he was raised in Colorado and learned to ski at Loveland Ski Area. Booker followed his passion for ski racing to Burke Mountain Academy in 1992 and later attended the University of Vermont where he earned All American honors. His ski industry experience includes time spent in race service, marketing and promotions, sales and administration.

“I have a deep respect for all of the great work and success of the Dalbello team. I hope to help in the continuing effort to grow the brand and build on the great specialty retail reputation that has been established in the USA.” said Booker. “I’m also very excited to join Mike and a group of people at Marker Völkl that is widely considered the best in the business as they welcome Dalbello into the fold.”

A leader in ski binding technology since the 1950s, Marker designs and produces binding components for freeskiing, backcountry skiing, racing, junior and rental binding categories. Marker also supplies system binding technology for several leading brands.

Völkl is a world leader in performance driven skis for skiers of all abilities: from the World Cup racer to the family weekend enthusiast. Dalbello began producing ski boots in Asolo, Italy, in 1974 and won more events at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games than any other ski boot brand.

MDV is part of Jarden Corporation's Outdoor Solutions segment, which includes two dozen sporting goods brands, including Coleman, ExOfficio, K2, Marmot, Rawlings and Zoot.
