Dakine hired Scotty “The Body” Conerly, to join the company as its new assistant snow team manager. In his position, Conerly will help coordinate all functions relating to the team, including making sure that all snowboard and ski team riders’ needs have been met, represent DAKINE at various contests and events, organize team photo shoots and promote the company through a variety of mediums.

“We’re stoked to have Scotty onboard,” said Randy Torcom, DAKINE’S snow marketing manager. “He is very well connected and brings a clear understanding of our industry and our business.”

A Mt. Hood native and accomplished snowboarder and photographer, Conerly brings tons of experience to the role, including stints as an editorial contributor for both Happy Magazine and TransWorldSnowboarding.com. Additionally, he has made a name for himself around snowboard and ski industry circles as an event host and emcee, as well as the face of www.snowvision.com.

Conerly commented on his new job by stating, “I’m super psyched to have the opportunity to work with one of the best teams in the industry.”
