CZ-USA has appointed three new senior managers to join its U.S. team, including Petr Pišt?lák as president of U.S. Operations, Tom Taylor to chief marketing officer and executive vice president, and John Dain, who joined the company in 2024, and was promoted to executive vice president, Commercial Sales.
Petr Pišt?lák will oversee all U.S. operations, sales and marketing at CZ-USA. He has been with the Colt CZ Group since 2019, serving as global head of Commercial Sales. He will relocate from the Czech Republic to Kansas City, KS. Before the Colt CZ Group, he served in various leadership roles at Proctor & Gamble, Czech Airlines and the PFF Group. He also founded the consulting agency Profit Booster.
Tom Taylor is responsible for leading marketing and product development. He will also support Colt marketing and further global growth of the CZ brand. He has served 21 years in various roles in the firearm industry, with the past 10 years at Sig Sauer as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of Commercial Sales. Before that, he worked at Smith & Wesson and Mossberg. Preceding his time in the firearms industry, Taylor spent over 20 years at The Coca-Cola Company in various leadership roles.
John Dain now oversees all aspects of U.S. sales. Before Colt CZ Group, Dain spent 12 years at Sig Sauer, where he advanced from roles in customer service and product management to serving as senior director, National Sales and Channel Marketing. Before working in the firearms industry, Dain served in the U.S. Army as a team leader in Iraq and is a decorated combat veteran.
