Cutters Gloves has partnered with McDavid to develop the first padded lineman glove with HexPad. McDavid’s patented HexPad Technology is the leading protective padding system.

Now featured in Cutters' new lineman glove, HexPad's individual closed cell athletic padding is dense and lightweight, and moves with and conforms to the hand. The HX80 also features Cutters' exclusive C-TACKTM Performance Grip Material. The two companies' focus on technology and innovation made the development of this product a natural fit.

“Cutters is always examining technology that will help athletes excel,” said Jeff Beraznik, the president of Cutters Gloves. “The quality and performance of HexPad when applied to gloves is so effective, the product really speaks for itself.”

These two brands are building on a trend where companies are coming together to capitalize on their patented technologies in order to develop the ultimate product.

“We at McDavid admire and share Cutters’ authentic relationship with their athletes,” stated McDavid CEO/President, Bob McDavid. “The collaboration of our industry-leading HexPad technology and Cutters’ new HX80 glove, will literally put McDavid into the hands of more athletes.”

This is an exclusive licensing agreement between Cutters and McDavid for the use of HexPad in football gloves. Cutters is responsible for the marketing and distribution of these products, and they will be sold exclusively through Cutters’ sales channels.

Football coaches and industry members will be able to see the HX80 at the upcoming American Football Coaches Show from January 8th through the 10th in San Antonio, Texas.
