Cutter & Buck Inc. has appointed Tim Cronin as company President.  Cronin joins Cutter & Buck from K2, where he held a number of high level leadership positions during his 14-year tenure.  In his new role, he will work directly with Cutter & Buck’s CEO Ernie Johnson directing the Sales, Marketing, Creative and Customer Service departments of the company.  Cronin will succeed Kaia Akre, who will continue to serve in a consultancy position with the company through the transition.

Originally from Boulder, CO, Cronin is a 25-year veteran of the Sporting Goods Industry.  For the past 12 of 14 years with K2, he has served as the president of the company’s Hilton Casual Division, a K2 subsidiary focused on the corporate market.  During this time, he also served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Product Development for the apparel division of its Rawlings Sporting Goods.  Cronin has also worked in high level capacity with powerful global brands including Wilson Sporting Good and Levi Strauss & Co.  His has spent years dedicated to competitive long distance running and active outdoor endeavours.
