Currie Technologies has relaunched it website under its re-branded name, Currie Tech. The new website is designed to drive consumer traffic into nearby Currie dealers by utilizing high quality images, a simple and fast dealer search tool, regularly updated blog posts, articles and reviews, and in-depth descriptions of product specifications and features.  Designed to be more user friendly than the previous version, currietech.com offers visitors an intuitive way to experience and explore the company’s brands: IZIP and eZip electric bikes and scooters.

The launch of the new www.currietech.com also includes an enhanced, password protected, dealer portal which allows authorized Currie dealers access to all of the company’s dealer materials, such as the unique technical information wiki, current product information, marketing materials and a host of other relevant information.

The update of the website reflects the company’s recent re-branding initiative to Currie Tech. This change is part of an online marketing campaign aimed at creating consistency among Currie Tech’s social media handles (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest) and the company’s general presence.  Though this change is reflected in the company’s logo, the official name of the company will remain Currie Technologies, and the company will continue doing business under this name.

“The new currietech.com is designed to complement our dealer network,” says Larry Pizzi, President at Currie Technologies.  “We wanted to create a website where consumers can evaluate Currie products, then easily find a local dealership where they can complete their e-bike experience.  The new site achieves this goal. It’s easy to use, attractive to consumers and at the same time offers our dealers access to the technical and product information 24/7.”

Currie Technologies holds various technology patents on the Electro-Drive Propulsion Systems, unique electric drive systems that provide superior performance and durability at a reasonable price.  The company, which had sales of $20 million in 2011, was acquired by Accell Group of the Netherlands in January.
