Crunch Fitness franchisee Fitness Ventures, LLC, is opening a Crunch location this summer in Lynchburg, VA. The 40,000-square-foot fitness facility will open in a former Big Lots building on Wards Road in Lynchburg.
Brian Hibbard, the CEO of Fitness Ventures LLC, owns and operates Crunch Fitness locations nationwide. Crunch Lynchburg will be Fitness Venture’s 63rd location in the U.S. and the second in Virginia, with plans to open 15 additional Crunch fitness facilities this year.
“We are excited to bring the Crunch brand to Lynchburg. Crunch is for everyone — from the first-time gym-goer to the seasoned athlete,” said Hibbard.
Crunch Fitness is a US-based brand of over 400 franchised and corporate-owned fitness clubs in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, and Australia. Founded by Doug Levine in 1989, the company’s current worldwide CEO is Jim Rowley.
