Crocs, Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Inc. The agreement, which covers both Crocs footwear and Jibbitz shoe charms, among other products, allows Crocs and Jibbitz to license properties by Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics.
“This exciting agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products is another positive step forward in the evolution of our licensing strategy,” commented Ron Snyder, CEO of Crocs. “Partnering with leading entertainment companies like Warner Bros. will allow us to continually bring fresh, new products to consumers from all walks of life and we look forward to capitalizing on the many opportunities that exist going forward.”
Karen McTier, Executive Vice President of Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products added: “Crocs is universally recognized for creating diverse footwear for all ages and partnering their unique product line with the brands of DC Comics is a natural fit.”
The new line will be available at select U.S. retail locations in summer 2007.
