Shoemaker Crocs Inc. continued trimming its workforce by laying off  27 people at its Niwot, CO. headquarters Wednesday as part of a companywide “restructuring,” the Daily Camera newspaper reported on its website.

The newspaper quoted a company spokeswoman as saying the lay offs were “across the board.”

Earlier this year, Crocs officials told the newspaper that the company employed 640 people in Niwot.

Two weeks ago Crocs said it was closing its Canadian manufacturing plant, which employed 600 workers.
