Cramer Products has hired Matt Conway as the company’s new vice president of sales.

Conway will oversee the sales efforts of the company, both domestic and international. He replaces Jack Patterson, who is retiring at the end of this month after 37 years with Cramer.

Conway has worked in the sporting goods industry since 1988, most recently as senior director of sales for Champro Sports. He previously was vice president of sales and marketing for Assist-U.S.; and worked in national accounts for Wilson Sporting Goods and Spalding Sports Worldwide. Conway grew up in Maine and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

“Jack’s dedication and contributions to Cramer have been remarkable, and he will be missed by employees and customers alike,” says Tom Rogge, president and chief executive officer of Cramer Products. “At the same time, we’re so pleased to have Matt on board and know that his experience in the sporting goods industry will benefit the company and our customers in many ways.”

“I’ve been very fortunate to work for some great companies in the past, and I’m delighted to continue my career at Cramer with its remarkable heritage, strong brand, quality products, and outstanding employees,” says Conway. “It’s rare to find a company that is an industry leader and universally respected, and also has a culture of kindness and respect. Cramer has been successful for more than 90 years, and I’m very happy to be a part of such a high quality organization.”
