Cramer Products has appointed Edward Christman as the company’s new vice president of marketing. Christman leaves his post as senior merchandising manager at Bike Athletic Co. in Atlanta to take the position at Cramer, where he started on June 16. Christman replaces Chris Waldeck, who left Cramer after three years to take a position with Reebok.

Christman has more than 30 years of experience in the field of sports medicine. He was with Bike Athletic Co. for a total of 21 years. In his last position with that company, Christman was senior merchandising manager for sports medicine, protective equipment, and team and branded products. He began his career in 1972 as head athletic trainer at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., after receiving his Masters of Education in Sports Medicine from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

In his new position with Cramer, Christman will oversee product research and development and all aspects of the company’s marketing.

“We are so pleased to have Ed on our senior management team at Cramer,” says Tom Rogge, president and chief executive officer of Cramer Products. “He is a natural fit for our company with his background as a certified athletic trainer and his expertise in product development and sports medicine marketing.”

Christman says, “I’ve always had great respect for Cramer’s products, name and heritage. My years of experience as an athletic trainer and in all aspects of sports medicine marketing make this a great match, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s success and growth.”
