Cotopaxi’s Questival, a 24-hour adventure scavenger hunt full of Colorado-specific challenges, makes its way to Denver and Boulder for the first time on June 12-13. The Questival combines fun with fitness, bringing together llamas, crazy stunts, delicious food trucks and local charities. Questival’s website boasts, “It's like The Amazing Race crammed into 24 insane hours.”

Registered teams compete in a 24-hour outdoor race to win international trips, cash and other amazing prizes. Cotopaxi will also award its gear and apparel to winners. Cotopaxi products are backed by a Human Lifespan Guarantee, assured to withstand 61 years of use, which according to the World Health Organization’s most recent statistics, is the average lifespan of a person living in the underdeveloped world.

The winning teams from each city will get the chance to compete for a trip around the world in a race spanning seven countries, from Belize to Panama.

The day prior to the race, teams receive a challenge list consisting of the events they will need to complete to win. Although participants can go online to the Cotopaxi website to sample a list of past challenges, the Denver/Boulder-specific events will not be released until 24 hours before the Questival begins. The list is top secret and one of the aspects making the event more fun for participants.

The Colorado challenge begins at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Cost and event details can be found online at the Cotopaxi Questival website.
