Following agreements to sell through Amazon and Dick’s Sporting Goods, Peloton Interactive, Inc. plans to sell its Peloton Bike+ exercise bike at a discount for a limited time at some of Costco’s U.S. stores and on the warehouse club’s website.

The two companies announced Tuesday that the Peloton’s Bike+ will be available for $1,999 at 300 of the retailer’s U.S. stores, and for $2,199 on Costco.com, compared with the usual price of $2,495. The deals will be available between November 1 and February 15.

“The Costco brand is incredibly powerful and respected in the US and abroad. Costco members know they are shopping for high-quality products from trusted brands with the best value,” stated Dion Camp Sanders, chief emerging business officer, Peloton.

Costco will become Peloton’s third wholesale partner as it seeks to reinvigorate sales. In August 2022, Peloton announced plans to sell its exercise equipment, accessories and apparel on Amazon’s U.S. website. Previously, Peloton’s products were only sold direct-to-consumer (DTC), either through its e-commerce site or its showrooms.  In September 2022, it reached an agreement to sell its hardware product and select accessories via branded fitness shops inside more than 100 Dick’s Sporting Goods retail locations and on Dick’s website.

Peloton in August reported its first sales increase in nine quarters.
