The Athlete’s Foot management team has purchased Group Rallye’s interest in The Athlete’s Foot. Robert J. Corliss, a retail industry veteran and president and CEO of The Athlete's Foot, along with members of the senior management team led the acquisition.

“The recent improvement in the performance of The Athlete’s Foot along with a strengthening of the company’s capital structure has enabled the management team to finalize this transaction,” says Robert J. Corliss, president and CEO of The Athlete’s Foot. “We are pleased with our current status and optimistic about our future,” Corliss adds.

The Athlete’s Foot is recognized as the world’s largest franchisor of athletic footwear and plans to continue its pattern of aggressive franchise growth around the world. It recently announced that it had signed franchise agreements to open stores throughout Greece and The United Kingdom.
