Colt, a manufacturer of firearms for the military, law enforcement and civilian markets, announced the addition of Anthony Acitelli to its leadership team as senior vice president of sales.
“Anthony is the well-rounded candidate we were looking for to fill the position of senior vice president of sales and we are thrilled to have him join our senior leadership team,” said President and CEO of Colt Dennis Veilleux. “His extensive experience in the defense industry, his proven track record of success in maintaining and increasing market share and his strong internal and external leadership abilities will make Anthony a strong asset to our company.”
Acitelli has more than 20 years experience in the defense industry. He spent the past three years with ATK – Security and Sporting Group, first in the role of vice president of strategy and business development, and then as president of the accessories division. Acitelli spent six years with Federal Cartridge, overseeing sales and marketing efforts. Other prior industry experience includes Tasco Worldwide and Simmons.
Acitelli earned his International MBA from Thunderbird Global Schools of Management and his bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. He also earned a general management certificate from Harvard Business School and completed executive management training through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
