Colorado Ski & Sports will open its newest Denver area shop Monday, Nov. 21 in a 28,000-square-foot space vacated by Comp USA nearly three years ago. The large format will allow the store to offer camping gear on top of its snow sports and golf offerings.
The six-store chain, which includes Boulder Ski Deals, is among more than 130 specialty retailer store operating by Specialty Sports Venture, a unit of Vail Resorts, Inc.
The new store in the Park Meadows complex will offer the same products and services as five sister stores, including; Junior Trade-In for skis and snowboards, custom ski boot and golf fittings, and tunes for skis and boards.
“Because of the huge amount of space we have in this location, we’re going to have Denver’s largest selection of ski and snowboard equipment, apparel and footwear in one place,” said Randy Bush, regional manager for Colorado Ski & Sport. “Plus we are introducing camping gear and equipment to our mix. And, of course, we’ll definitely become the south Denver headquarters for our Junior Trade In program that grows virtually every year.”
Adults can also take advantage of season long rental packages. The new store features a full alpine ski and snowboard rental department with skis, boards and boots from sport level to the latest demos. For extra convenience, daily rental gear picked up at Colorado Ski & Sports can be returned at one of the dozens of affiliated stores throughout Colorado’s famed mountain towns from Keystone to Vail and Winter Park to Crested Butte.
