Club Champion opened a new fitting studio in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, its first Club Champion-branded store in the country following its acquisition of Tour Experience Golf (TXG) in 2022.
The studio at Ace Performance Center, 5660 Cedarbridge Way, has two indoor hitting bays with Foresight launch monitors for analyzing performance, a Quintic Ball Roll system to select the appropriate putter, and a build shop for hand repairing and assembling golf clubs. The more than 3,000 square foot space also includes a demo matrix to display the head and shaft options that comprise the company’s 60,000 hittable combinations.
“We’re thrilled to be able to expand within Canada and keep bringing this level of fitting to golfers,” said Nick Sherburne, founder of Club Champion. “Working with Ian (Fraser) and his team has been great, and we’re excited to offer custom club fitting to a new market.”
“We’ve seen so many players who think they aren’t skilled enough for a fitting, and that’s just not the case,” said Fraser, GM of Club Champion Canada and lead content creator for the global brand. “There’s no minimum skill required; in fact, higher handicappers stand to gain the most from a custom fitting. It’s not uncommon to see double-digit gains throughout the bag and a healthy drop in handicap after a fitting done right.”
Established in 2010, there are over 120 Club Champion locations internationally, including studios in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
