Cloudveil has announced the 30 members of its Inspired Mountain Ambassador team.

Launched earlier this year via social media channels, the nationwide search for a team of inspiring everyday athletes produced over 400 applicants.

“We were looking to tap into the excitement and following that Cloudveil has at a grassroots level in the outdoor communities across the nation,” stated Cloudveil marketing coordinator, Nick Brosnan. “We weren’t necessarily looking for the chargers setting the toughest lines, instead the intent was to reach out to a broader range of people who are continuously pushing themselves, their sports and inspiring the people around them. We received an incredible response from athletes, environmentalists, musicians, filmmakers and educators who made narrowing the list a tough task.”

The Inspired Mountain Ambassador team is a group dedicated to the outdoors, and making it their mission to do what they can to help bring awareness to global environmental and cultural issues. Their work ranges from studying global warming and its affect on glacial recession, the study and preservation of snow leopards in the South Gobi of Mongolia, habitat restoration projects in Malawi, educational programs for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, to working with disabled skiers and helping others experience the joy of the outdoors.
