Climate Neutral welcomed Melissa Leslie to the newly created position as head of marketing. She assumes responsibility for advancing Climate Neutral’s message with brands and consumers.
Leslie, an industry veteran in digital communication and news media, brings years of B2C experience to the team from CPG, retail and automotive industries. She has worked for media groups Yahoo!, PopSugar, Bustle and, most recently, as Director of Client Partnerships at Foursquare.

Leslie joins the Climate Neutral team after a year of growth for the organization. In 2020 Climate Neutral certified its first cohort of 150 brands collectively offsetting more than 200,000 tons of CO2. As the organization accelerates into 2021, participation continues to grow with more than 100 new companies committed to offsetting and reducing carbon emissions.
