Charge, the DTC electric bike brand, launched its Comfort 2 model, an updated version of its Comfort Bike and the first new model since the brand’s launch in 2020.
With a 50-mile range and 250W Bafang hub geared motor, the Comfort 2 offers larger volume tires, pedal assist and throttle. Other updates include an increased rear rack weigh-capacity limit of 55 pounds which is compatible with rack attachments. The lightweight alloy fork minimizes bike weight when riding or lifting the bike.
“Here at Charge, we want to give our customers an authentically moving, liberating experience that’s less about winning a race and more about enjoying all the little moments along the ride,” said Molly Harrington, Marketing Director for Charge. “So, we are excited to launch the Comfort 2 model, which is easier to use and more comfortable than its predecessor.”
The bike is suitable for riders 4’11” to 6’3” tall. The bike comes in White, Candy Red and Midnight Blue.
