Chaco made a $46,945 donation to the American Camp Association’s (ACA) “Send a Child to Camp” scholarship fund for 2014–enough to send 94 underprivileged children to camp.

“Going to camp is a time-honored tradition and for many it’s the beginning of a lifetime of love and respect for the outdoors,” noted Chaco General Manager Chip Coe. “Chaco is proud to make this donation to an organization that is vital to the future of our youth and, in particular, to provide these deserving children with a camp experience they might not otherwise enjoy.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Chaco has raised over $68,000 dollars for our “Send a Child to Camp” scholarship fund since this partnership began in 2013,” said Peg Smith, CEO American Camp Association. “Offering the opportunity to attend camp to over 100 children means the world to us and we are extremely grateful for our partnership with Chaco.”
