Chaco, a subsidiary of Wolverine Worldwide Inc., joined the East Tennessee Red Cross to support residents affected by wildfires last week near Gatlinburg, TN and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
After pledging an initial $5,000 to Red Cross relief efforts, Chaco is now offering a two-to-one match for all new donations. For every $1 donated, the company will contribute $2, up to an additional $20,000.
“This tragedy hit home for everyone on our team,” said Seth Cobb, president of Chaco. “So many members of the Chaco community were impacted – friends, customers, retail store staff – that we felt urgent action was needed. We hope many more individuals will join us as we look to help people recover and rebuild.”
