CEP and Medi GmbH& Co. shared that April Wilson has joined the CEP and Medi division as footwear category manager in order to further grow the brands in the U.S. Wilson will manage the footwear category as well as CEP’s “better footwear” retail sales unit.

Wilson comes to Medi with a graduate degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training and a GTTC Physical Therapy Assistant degree. She is also a certified manual physical therapist assistant, and has been working in physical therapy for 18 years with specializations in lower extremity dysfunction, footwear and orthotics. Wilson also teaches educational foot and ankle seminars and is a certified personal trainer/fitness instructor, clinical instructor and Kiniso Tape Practitioner.

“I have been involved with the Medi USA team for the past four years and I am excited to have the opportunity to join this fantastic company and introduce our solutions to footcare specialists and better footwear retailers,” Wilson said.

“After having the opportunity to work with April on a few special projects such as fitting the Joe Gibbs NASCAR Racing team with orthotics this year, I knew her experience, background, and passion would be a perfect fit for our team,” said Luke Rowe, senior vice president at CEP. “Her clinical background combined with her natural sales ability will help us establish and grow this segment of our Medi USA business.”
