Celerant Technology, a provider of innovative retail software for the sporting goods and outdoor industry, announced its integration partnership with Zanders Sporting Goods, a leading shooting sports distributor. This integration allows FFL dealers to gain direct access to Zander’s retail products and distribution services to streamline their inventory supply chain, for both in-store and online sales.

Through this integration, dealers can access Zanders’ entire online catalog of over 40,000 products, select the products they want to sell and import the data into Celerant’s point-of-sale database. By setting minimum/maximum inventory thresholds within Celerant’s retail system, purchase orders are automatically created, reviewed and sent electronically to Zanders when inventory is low. In return, Zanders sends a digital order acknowledgement and an advanced shipment notice (ASN) detailing information about a pending order prior to delivery.

In addition to streamlining inventory replenishment, Celerant’s integration with Zanders allows retailers to display and sell Zanders’ merchandise online without stocking inventory or fulfilling orders. Celerant’s E-Commerce websites can accept data feeds consisting of Zander’s available inventory in their warehouse, and displays those products, including product descriptions and images, online in real-time. Once an order is placed online, including firearm sales, the order is sent directly to Zanders for drop shipping direct to the customer or to an FFL dealer for pickup.
