The Category Manager represents the Central Nervous System at K-Swiss. This position works with all departments and is the primary interface between Product Design, Development and Sales.

Specific responsibilities are as follows:

  • Direct and manage global product strategy including pricing, segmentation, SMU’s and launch dates.
  • Lead the footwear design process by coordinating and managing Team Design Review Meetings and Market Research Trips.
  • Conduct pre-line focus groups with consumers and buyers.
  • Provide quarterly sales presentations to major accounts.
  • Present product line at all sales meetings.
  • Recommend monthly and quarterly product buys.
  • Oversee inventory levels at major accounts.
  • Establish go-in margins on a style-by-style basis.
