Canari Cycle Wear has announced a licensing agreement with Campbell’s Soup to design and manufacture cycling apparel based on the popular soup brand. Judging from preseason sales, the styles are attracting a great deal of interest and support from the cycling community.

“Our original thought was to design jerseys based on the famous artwork of the Campbell’s Soup can by Andy Warhoul, but it wasn’t available to us so we pursued another option with Campbell’s,” said Scot Robinson of Canari. “Our first designs, which include a ‘Full of Beans Soup” jersey and a “Team Campbell’s jersey, are among our hottest sellers this spring.”

The Campbell’s styled jerseys from Canari feature the Campbell’s soup logo, with the same red, white and gold colors the soup cans are known for. The jerseys feature an athletic fit, a 14″ hidden zipper, triple back pocket, elastic bottom finish and cuffed sleeves.

“Obviously, the brand is easy to recognize, but the style of the jersey itself gives cyclists a unique look that is different from any other jersey out there,” said Scot Robinson. “We plan on building on this success with other branded jerseys from the Campbell’s family such as V-8 Juice, Pepperidge Farm Cookies, Gold Fish Crackers and Pace Picante Sauce. Cyclists who wear them will definitely get a lot of attention.”
