CamelBak Products, LLC has appointed Jim Mahoney as Senior Vice President of Operations. Mahoney will work with the Recreational, Military and Industrial divisions of CamelBak. He will be responsible for all activities related to the flow of CamelBak products from manufacturing through distribution, including quality control, manufacturing, engineering, factory facilities, purchasing, production scheduling and distribution.

“I’m really pleased to be with CamelBak,” says Mahoney. “They’re a brand leader with good practices already established. Keeping pace with their growth in both new and existing markets is going to require a great operations structure. It’s a very exciting opportunity”.

Mahoney moves to CamelBak from Mission Hockey, where had been Chief Operations Officer since 1998. Prior to working with Mission, Mahoney had held been VP/Operations at NordicTrack and Senior Director of Procurement and Engineering at Rollerblade, Inc.

“Jim brings the skills CamelBak needs now and will need in the future”, says Glenn Gross, CamelBak’s president. “He’s done it all, in terms of global procurement, planning, sourcing, inventory management and warehouse/distribution logistics, both nationally and internationally. As CamelBak continues to grow, Jim will keep us ahead of the curve.”

Mahoney has begun his duties at CamelBak and recently attended his first sales meeting. He and his wife, Berteil are looking forward to relocating from Orange County to Sonoma County this fall.
