Archon A leading paintball manufacturer and distributor is currently searching for a Buyer to expand their current business.
You will be responsible for the strategic buying activities for all paintball products for the paintball division while achieving gross margin targets and monitoring inventory levels to maximize turns. You will actively pursue new products and companies to add to the distribution base. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are managed properly and according to plan.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Post-secondary education required (Business degree preferable)
- Knowledge of the paintball industry/sporting goods would be an asset but position is trainable.
- 3-5 years experience in a Buyer related position
- Demonstrated interpersonal qualities such as team player, motivated, opportunist, goal oriented and flexible
