American Skiing Company has named Dana Bullen as President and Managing Director of the Sunday River resort in Newry, Maine. Mr. Bullen has served as General Manager of the resort since September 2004 and brings to the position more than 20 years of ski industry and resort management experience.

“Dana has made a tremendous contribution to Sunday River resort and its community; I am confident our guests and employees will continue to benefit from his leadership for years to come,” said John Diller, President and Managing Director of Sugarloaf/USA. Diller served as President and Managing Director for both Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA prior to Bullen's promotion, and will continue to serve in that role at Sugarloaf/USA.

Prior to his appointment to General Manager of Sunday River, Bullen served as Vice President of Partnership Marketing of American Skiing Company, overseeing corporate partnership programs for the company's network of resorts. A native of Farmington, Maine, Bullen worked his way up the ski business, holding various positions at Sugarloaf/USA resort prior to his employment at the parent company of both Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA.

Bullen's expanded role as President and Managing Director will commence immediately. He will report to President and CEO B.J. Fair.
