Brunswick Corporation named Lloyd C. Chatfield II as vice president, general counsel and secretary reporting to Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy.


Chatfield, 39, joined the company in 2000 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including deputy general counsel and managing director of mergers and acquisitions for Brunswick Corporation, general counsel – Brunswick European Group, general counsel – Brunswick Bowling & Billiards, and general counsel – US Marine Division.

“We are pleased to have someone with Lloyd's variety of experiences within our organization to fill this important position,” said McCoy. “We will clearly benefit from his in-depth knowledge of the company, its strategies, objectives and its operations.”


Chatfield holds a bachelor's of arts from the University of Tampa, and a juris doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Kentucky Law Journal.
