Brunswick Corporation named Adrian W. Sakowicz to the new position of vice president — community relations and corporate marketing alliances. He will report to Dustan E. McCoy, Brunswick chairman and chief executive officer.

“Brunswick continues to make community relations a top priority, and in the appointment of Adrian, who has nearly 25 years of experience at the company, we are demonstrating an even greater commitment in this important area that impacts us all,” said McCoy.

Sakowicz, who most recently was assistant vice president — corporate sales and marketing alliances, will continue to be responsible for Brunswick's unique marketing partnerships, such as Brunswick's long-standing relationship with Walt Disney World, and general corporate sponsorship opportunities. Sakowicz also will assume additional responsibilities as president of The Brunswick Private Foundation.

Sakowicz joined Brunswick in 1982 in the company's Retail Bowling Division, advancing to the position of vice president — communications for the unit. In 1989, Sakowicz became director of public relations for Brunswick Corporation. Seven years later, he was named director — marketing services, and in 2001 was named assistant vice president of corporate sales and marketing alliances.
