Brunswick Corporation further solidified its position in the table sports market with the acquisition of Valley-Dynamo, LP, a manufacturer of commercial and consumer pool, foosball and table hockey products, particularly for the coin-operated and specialty retail sales channels.
BC bought the assets of the company, which includes the Tornado foosball table, Valley pool tables and Dynamo pool, foosball and air hockey tables, from private investment firm Fenway Partners, Inc. and an individual investor in a $34.5 million deal. Each party owned 50% of the company.
The company sees leveraging Brunswick Billiards design and marketing expertise to drive top-line growth, while looking to its global sourcing efficiencies to build the bottom line for the new division. Valley-Dynamo, based in the Fort Worth, TX area, will become a division of Brunswick Billiards.
