Brunswick Corporation named Jacques A. Bronchart as president – Brunswick European Group (BEG). Bronchart most recently served as president of Marine Power Europe and has helped lead Mercury Marine’s sales and service efforts in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) since 1998.
“Jacques is ideally suited to lead the next phase of Brunswick’s growth in Europe,” said Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy. “His strong market knowledge and expertise in developing our regional boat business on the Continent give him the ideal experience base from which to continue building our presence in these attractive marine markets.”
Bronchart will be responsible for Brunswick’s marine sales and distribution activities in the EMEA region. Bronchart will also continue to oversee the shared services functions used by all Brunswick operations in Europe, including marine, fitness equipment and bowling and billiards.
Bronchart succeeds Victoria J. Reich, who is resigning to pursue other career opportunities. Reich joined Brunswick Corporation in 1996 as vice president and controller. In 2000, she was named senior vice president and chief financial officer before moving to Brussels as president – BEG in 2003.
“Vicki has made significant contributions to Brunswick during her 10 years with the company,” said McCoy. “As CFO, Vicki provided strong financial leadership to the company, and then later established the Brunswick European Group, refining growth strategies and operations that now generate over $1.2 billion in annual sales. That momentum will continue to accelerate under Jacques leadership, and we wish Vicki well in her future endeavors.”
