Brooks-Range Mountaineering Equipment, a manufacturer of high-quality backcountry and mountaineering equipment, has hired sales rep Gavin Rains to represent it in the Southeast.


Starting immediately, Rains of When It Rains, Inc. will be handling all sales in the Southeast territory, including: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia & Louisiana.

Gavin has been involved in the outdoor retail industry since 2001 and has been a sales rep since 2007. He started his career working in retail management and diversified into consulting, guiding and teaching outdoor skills before becoming a sales rep. “Brooks-Range is a good fit for me because it is a specialty product that concentrates on innovation,” says Gavin Rains.
