Broder Bros., Co. saw first quarter net sales increase 6.0% to $209.6 million from $197.7 million for the first quarter 2005. The company posted a net loss for the first quarter of $5.3 million compared to a net loss of $5.4 million last year.
The Broder division generated a first quarter 2006 net sales increase of 7.6% to $79.4 million from $73.8 million in the first quarter 2005. The Alpha division saw sales increase 5.6% to $105.0 million from net sales of $99.4 million in the first quarter 2005, while the NES division saw net sales increase 2.9% to $25.2 million in the first quarter of 2006 compared to net sales of $24.5 million in the first quarter of 2005.
