Brine, Inc. signed an agreement with Mandy Clemens to join the Brine Soccer R&D Team. The 27-year-old San Diego native and Santa Clara University graduate will be prominently featured in Brine advertising, including their “Find Your Game” campaign.

“Brine and Mandy are a great fit,” says Brine’s Vice President of Brand Development, Dan Brown. “In addition to representing the very best in American women's soccer, her belief that the American game is expressive, independent, imaginative and aggressive is embodied in Mandy's own personality.”

In addition to being featured in Brine’s marketing campaign, Clemens will be involved with the research and development of new soccer equipment and will make appearances at Brine-sponsored camps, clinics and events.

Clemens attended Santa Clara University from 1996 to 1999 and was deemed “one of the best collegiate forwards ever” by SoccerTimes.com. During her college career, she led the SCU Broncos to four consecutive NCAA Soccer College Cup appearances and holds the SCU record for most career goals, assists and points. She is also only one of five people in NCAA history to score more than sixty goals and have more than sixty assists during a four-year college career.

Named the NSCAA Division I Player of the Year in 1999, Clemens played on the U.S. Women’s National Team from 1999 to 2002 and was a three-year player in the WUSA, playing for both the Philadelphia Charge and the San Jose CyberRays. She also made a brief appearance on the reality television phenomenon, “The Bachelor.” Since the league ceased operations, Clemens has been pursuing her master’s degree at Loyola Marymount University, where she is also the graduate assistant coach for the women’s soccer program and is a full time coach at The Beckham Academy in Los Angeles.
