BreakingT, the fan apparel maker based in Washington, DC, entered into a licensed apparel agreement with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

BreakingT uses its social analytics platform, CrowdBreak, to identify sports trends and fan sentiment in real-time, releasing quick-turn fan apparel that are sold in-store and online in the U.S.

The deal marks the first major pro league license for the company which is also licensed by the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association (NWSLPA), other player associations and 60-plus colleges.

“We’ve been celebrating and merchandising the most exciting moments in women’s sports for years thanks to our partnerships with pro players associations. Now we get to do that in a bigger way with the NWSL, which is one of the fastest-growing leagues in America,” said BreakingT President Jamie Mottram.
