Bold Betties, an organization in the women’s outdoor adventure industry, has attracted an additional $750,000 round of outside capital. The new round of financing will enable it to quadruple its presence in cities across America, augment marketing efforts and invest in new technology
“This financing well help us expand our reach to 120 cities by the end of 2018,” said CEO and Founder Niki Koubourlis. “In addition, we are investing heavily in our infrastructure and expanding partnerships with experience providers and gear and apparel brands that help make Bold Betties a truly unique and transformative experience for women across the country.”
To date, Denver-based Bold Betties maintains 32 chapters in cities across North America, 22 of which have been established within the last six months. The company uses social media and technology-enabled platforms to cultivate communities of women who organize outdoor activities and events that push their perceived limits and foster meaningful friendships.
