Body Glove added Nolan Rapoza, the 17-year-old amateur surfer, to its ambassador team.

“I am really excited to be a part of the Body Glove team,” said Rapoza. “I love the whole crew and how supportive they are. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us.”

Rapoza, whose father, Craig, was a former professional extreme skier, comes from an athletic and supportive family. He is currently competing in the NSSA, Surfing America and WSL Pro Juniors events. Last year, Rapoza took second in the NSSA West Coast Championships in the Open Men’s and Open Juniors divisions. He placed third place at the Vissla ISA World Junior Championships in Ecuador in the Boys under 16 division, and second in Boys under 16 division at the Surfing America Championship.

This next year, Rapoza is striving for a NSSA National Championship, ISA World Junior Championship, and Surfing America Boys under-18 Championship. He also plans to qualify for the WSL World Junior Championships, and to spend more time on the North Shore of Hawaii.

Besides Body Glove, Nolan is sponsored by Fox Head, On A Mission, Banzai Bowls, Katin Surf Shop, Sex Wax, and Roberts Surfboards.

Body Glove sponsors one of the most respected surf and wakeboard teams in the industry. Pro surfers Tatiana Weston-Webb, Jamie O’Brien, Anthony Walsh, Alex Gray, Guinness World Record Holder Garrett McNamara, as well as wakeboarders Rusty Malinoski, Harley Clifford, and Bob Soven are all part of the Body Glove Team.
