In an effort to accommodate continued growth of the company, BOB jogging strollers has successfully relocated its entire business operation from San Luis Obispo, CA to Boise, ID. As of January 16, BOB has resumed operations and is again shipping product –including its new line for 2006.

“We are extremely happy to be up and running in Boise after a seamless and successful relocation,” said Damon Noller, vice president of sales and marketing. “We are in the process of aggressively adding to our staff to accommodate current and expected future growth.”

After nearly 12 years of conducting business in San Luis Obispo, BOB’s exponential growth had surpassed the size of its current warehouse and personnel space. Boise’s bustling business environment, lifestyle affordability, and appeal as a natural haven for outdoor enthusiasts made it a natural fit for BOB.

“Our new location in Boise allows us to employ more resources to all areas of the business, including sales, operations, and especially product development and customer service,” said Noller. “With the application of additional resources, we expect improvements in efficiency as well as continued growth as a company.”

BOB’s new facility in Boise is triple the size of its previous site, providing additional space for inventory, research and development, and employees. More than half of the BOB staff has relocated to Boise, and the company plans to fill many additional positions in response to its dramatic recent growth. BOB employees who made the move to Boise will benefit from a lower cost of living, especially in regard to real estate, making home ownership much easier in comparison to San Luis Obispo.

BOB credits much of the success of the relocation to assistance from the city of Boise and local officials.

“The Mayor of Boise, David Bieter, and Jeffrey Jones in the city's economic development department were extremely instrumental in helping to make this relocation possible,” said Roger Malinowski, president of BOB. “They have been very supportive and welcoming in regard to our company joining the Boise business community, and we expect to continue to build strong and lasting relationships with the people of this great city.”
