BMC Switzerland has hired Dan Delehanty as the new national sales manager for its U.S. operations.

Delehanty has over 20 years of premium retail experience in the cycling and automotive industries including tenure at Palo Alto Bicycles. In his new role, Dan will coordinate sales activities between regional territories and manage BMC’s efforts to increase IBD business. In addition to his new position, he will continue to represent BMC directly in the NorCal and Pacific Northwest territories.

“I'm looking forward to taking on this additional responsibility with BMC. I believe that my extensive retail experience will allow me to help our retailers continue to grow with the brand,” said Delehanty.

The creation of the national sales manager position and Delehanty’s transition into this role reinforces BMC’s strategy to strengthen its relationships with brick and mortar retailers.

“Dan has done an excellent job growing the BMC and Stromer brands in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest over the last 3 years.” said Chris McLaren, BMC’s general manager. “Dan’s understanding of sales trends, IBD retail, and his ability to develop long lasting customer relationships is a great asset to the BMC brand and we’re confident he can bring this knowledge and experience to a national level.”

BMC Switzerland's  BMC, Stromer and Bergamont brands span many bike categories, including time trials, downhill machines, kids’ bikes and e-bikes.
