Blink Fitness, a gym with more than 50 locations throughout New York and New Jersey, will open the doors to its newest location at 56-02 Roosevelt Ave. in Queens on May 25, 2016.

As a part of the Grand Opening celebration, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships, worth around $10,000, to The Child Center of NY, an organization dedicated to strengthening children and families with skills, opportunities, and emotional support to build healthy, successful lives.

“We are so pleased that Blink Fitness has chosen to donate these memberships to families and staff of The Child Center of NY,” said Traci Donnelly, CEO and Executive Director of The Child Center. “As an agency committed to underserved communities and to promoting health and wellness on every level, we share a lot of common ground with Blink. We are glad to welcome the club to the neighborhood and look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.”

“We are excited to open our doors and welcome the Woodside community,” said Michael Fisher, Club Manager. “We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the neighborhood.”

This new Blink Fitness facility will house 70 pieces of cardio equipment and 60 pieces of strength training equipment, including free weights and machines that cover upper body, lower body, and core.
