Blink Fitness, an East Coast fitness franchise, opened its newest Manhattan location in the East Village at 98 Avenue A. The grand opening takes place October 25.
As part of the celebration, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships worth more than $10,000 to Lower Eastside Girls Club, an organization dedicated to connecting girls and young women to healthy and successful futures.
“We are so pleased that Blink Fitness has chosen to donate these memberships to families and staff of The Lower Eastside Girls Club,” said Lyn Pentecost, executive director, The Lower Eastside Girls Club. “As an organization we are committed to providing health and wellness programming for our community. We are glad to welcome the club to the neighborhood and look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.”
“We are excited to open our doors and welcome the East Village community,” said Brandon Hall, club manager. “We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the neighborhood.”
Blink Fitness is best known for its “Mood Above Muscle” philosophy.
