Bleacher Bums, the sports apparel and memorabilia retailer, is closing two stores in Colonial Park, PA and Frederick, MD, in January.
The retailer said in a Facebook post, “As the 2022 holiday season comes to an end, we want to thank all of you for your continued business. As you know, the retail landscape has changed significantly over the last few years, and we appreciate all your support. Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to close two of our stores that just haven’t been seeing the number of customers they once did. In late January 2023, we will close the doors of our Colonial Park and Frederick stores for the final time.
“Since selling merchandise is easier than moving it, we will be marking down everything at our Colonial Park and Frederick stores by 50 percent. All sales will be final, there will be no returns, and the offer is good on in-stock merchandise only.
“We want to thank all of our Harrisburg and Frederick customers for their business. We appreciate each and every one of you. We hope that we’ll continue to see you shopping at one of our three remaining locations. The Camp Hill, Lancaster, and Hagerstown stores will operate normally, and employees from Colonial Park and Frederick will be offered positions there.”
“Bleacher Bums gift cards will continue to be honored at all locations regardless of where they were purchased. Thanks again for your support.”
