Blackcrows, the French ski brand focused on design-driven performance ski gear and apparel, announced it expanded its partnership with freeskier Nikolaï Schirmer to include apparel and equipment.
“Over ten years of a successful partnership with Blackcrows, Nikolai has become a key partner for us, and we’ve mutually supported each other’s growth,” said Flo Bastien, global sports marketing manager at Blackcrows. “His commitment to performance and exploration, storytelling skills and work ethic are second to none. We’re proud and excited to extend our collaboration with Nikolai to apparel and equipment. He, with other Blackcrows’ athletes, will play an important role in developing and growing those categories of products alongside our team.”
Said Schirmer, ‘It’s a dream come true to fully don the feathers of the crows. To see what Blackcrows has grown into since my first trip with Co-founder Bruno 12 years ago is kind of crazy, and I’m honored to contribute to the vision of a brand focused solely on the skiing that I love and the culture around it.”
Schirmer will participate in the Blackcrows Le Retour du Début de Saison event in Chamonix on January 2-3, where fans and ski enthusiasts are invited to meet and ski with him and see his latest project with Blackcrows.
