Birkenstock USA announced the addition of Scott Radcliffe as vice president of marketing, Americas.

In this newly-created leadership position, Radcliffe will develop and implement all marketing programs to support Birkenstock’s unprecedented growth across wholesale, retail and consumer channels.

With an iconic footbed that transcends the worlds of comfort, lifestyle and fashion, Birkenstock is placed prominently in the most influential footwear retailers across the U.S. As Vice President of Marketing, Radcliffe brings high-level vision and execution in leading the brand’s U.S. trade and consumer voices. This includes developing strategies for growing digital and social media platforms, in conjunction with the Birkenstock global organization in Germany.

Radcliffe brings more than 20 years of experience in consumer marketing and public relations. He has focused on building passion-based lifestyle brands serving most recently as Vice President of Marketing for Lifefactory and has worked on marketing programs for Amazon.com, Dell, Nike and Seventh Generation. Radcliffe earned a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
