Big Peach Running Co. plans to open its first store in Atlanta and 13th overall. The store will be owned in a partnership with former music industry executive Ric Ross and his wife, Dawn.

Big Peach Running in a social media post said Ric Ross, known for his efforts developing the careers of artists including Anita Baker, The Isley Brothers, Mary J. Blige, T.I. and Migos, has been passionate about running since he was on the cross-country team in high school, leading him to open his own Big Peach Running store.

“As residents ourselves, Dawn and I are thrilled to open the first Black-owned store for Big Peach Running Co. in our hometown of South Fulton. We will be passionately bringing quality service, education, and expertise on running shoes, apparel, and wellness to our community. This is more than a store—it’s an opportunity to empower the Black community and all of our Guests with the knowledge and tools to pursue a healthier lifestyle through running,” said co-owner Ric Ross.

This location will open late Q4 at 5829 Campbellton Road in Atlanta in the Sandtown Crossing development.

Big Peach Running operates 11 stores in Georgia in Alpharetta, Braselton, Brookhaven, Cartersville, Cumming, Dawsonville, Decatur, Kennesaw, Marietta (East Cobb), Midtown and Suwanee. It also operates one location in Florida in Melbourne.
